Jon, received the Children’s Book Insider today. Just wanted to let you know that I enjoyed your Aiming for Excellence article. I totally agree with you that America is too exposed to mediocrity through reality tv stars and musicians that are better at self promotion than music. Great tough love approach on writing- be excellent or be done!

Yeah, I just decided it was time to start using our platform to rile things up a bit!
Really, it’s more to remind people why they got into children’s writing in the first place and inspire them to stay on track.
